Beach FC Summer Training Academy

Beach FC is excited to announce the 2012 Summer Training Academy Program. This program is designed for current Beach FC Junior Academy and Travel players in the U8 through U17 age groups and is based on the balance of structured training and unstructured play in a non-season format. Since players will not be preparing for any "matches" the focus will be on individual player development in a team training environment. Our Directors of Coaching will place players in training pools that will create appropriate challenges for each individual player.

Training Dates (Tuesdays and Thursdays)*: 6/12, 6/14, 6/19, 6/21, 6/26, 6/28, 7/10, 7/12, 7/17, 7/19
Training times: 6:00-7:30pm at Shipps Corner training facility
     *if numbers exceed expectations we may have to move certain groups to Wednesday evening training 6:00-7:30pm.

  • Open only to current Beach FC Junior Academy and Travel players (No Tryouts)
  • Consistent training through summer
  • Players placed in "training pools"
  • No travel in this training focused program
  • Over the past two years participation in this summer program has helped Beach FC attain 3 State Cup Championships, overall VCCL club championship and many VSL league championships
  • 10 sessions starting in June and ending in July 2012.
  • More developmentally appropriate when compared to soccer camps.
