NYSL is pleased to offer a Goalkeeping Academy for all U9-U19 Recreational and Advanced players in the NYSL program. This Academy is designed specifically to target the goalkeeping position. Players will engage in activities challenging them in shot stopping, body position, athletic movements, ball distribution, and an overall understanding of the function of the position in a team setting. The Academy is held under the direction of NYSL Technical Director, Brian Hinkey. Sessions will be conducted by John Connelly (bio), Beach FC Goalkeeping Director.
