Subj:  Great First Night!

Families of the JRA,

Thanks for making out first training night a tremendous success! The energy and excitement form all our players was contagious and it created a fantastic coaching environment. The staff was very impressed with the ability levels of all our players. All our players worked very hard and I am excited to be a part of their development over the next ten weeks!

U7-U8s will train this Friday from 6-7:15 at HRSC. Our first Game Day is this Saturday. U6s 10:30-11:15 and U7-U8s from 11:30-12:30. All games will be at Virginia Wesleyan. Everyone should be in their Yellow jerseys for our first game.

Please be sure to sit on the outside of the game fields on Saturday and not on the sidelines. There is plenty of room to watch the games behind the goals, but please avoid sitting on the sidelines. Remember to cheer and be positive and refrain from coaching from the sidelines. Lets allow our players to solve the soccer problems!

Look forward to seeing you all this weekend.

Subj:  Jr. Academy Starts This Week

Families of the Jr. Academy,

I hope this email finds you well and everyone is excited for our first training session this Wednesday! Just a reminder the U6s train from 5:005:45 and the U7U8s train from 6:007:15 at the Hampton Roads Soccer Complex. We will be using field 13 which is at the front right of the complex as you are looking at the offices/snack bar. Please park anywhere in the lots but do not park or drop off in the circle lot. Everyone should be in black or white shorts and socks and their Jr. Academy Training Tshirt. Proper soccer cleats and socks pulled over the shin guards. Everyone needs a soccer ball as well.

If you have not picked up your uniform from Premier Soccer in Landstown Commons please do so before Wednesday if possible.
Our games this Saturday have been pushed back a little from our normal start time. Games will still be held at Virginia Wesleyan University. The Virginia Wesleyan Men's and Women's teams will be training on the fields before our games to get ready for their upcoming season. Our U6s game will start at 10:30am and our U7U8s will start at 11:30am. Pull into the school and tell the security guard you are here for Beach FC Soccer. Take a right at the stop sign and circle around to the parking lot on your left.

The Virginia Wesleyan Men’s team plays this Saturday after our games at 7:00pm and admission is free! Come out and support the Marlins and watch some high level soccer.

Please let me know if you have any questions and I look forward to seeing you all Wednesday.

Subj:  Fall 2014 Jr. Academy

Families of Jr. Academy,

I hope everyone is doing well and you are getting excited for our fall season! Our Elite 2014-2015 staff is in place and they are very excited to start training our players. We are geared up to improve development through building proper technique, fundamentals, and maximizing touches on the ball.
During the first couple weeks, players will learn new skills that they can take home with them to continue and improve their comfort level on the ball. I strongly encourage all our players to set aside some time everyday to touch the ball. I know time is limited and managing already busy schedules doesn't leave to much free time to work on dribbling and passing. With our three sessions a week players will see drastic technical improvements. But if our players can build on their skills outside of training and train on their own, they will expedite their technical competency.

Any players who have ordered new uniform components can go to Premier Soccer in Landstown Commons VB to pick up their uniforms starting Monday. A reminder all players need to be in black or white shorts, black or white socks, and their Jr. Academy training shirt for every session (Jerseys and old training shirts work as well). Bring a properly inflated ball to every session with plenty of water.

Our first training session is Wednesday Aug. 20th and out first game is Saturday Aug. 23rd. We will train for 10 straight weeks including Labor Day weekend through October 25th.

As always, please email me if you have any questions and I look forward to seeing you all soon!
