"Go to Goal" Capital Campaign
Dear Beach FC Members and Friends
On behalf of the club, I wish you the best and safest Thanksgiving holiday! I trust that all of you are looking forward to a well deserved break from soccer in the upcoming weeks. I want to send my sincere thanks to you for all of your hard work, commitment and dedication to your individual teams and to Beach FC. We congratulate you on a great fall season!
Later this week, all Beach FC Members, Alumni, past Board Members and friends of the club will receive a letter and brochure explaining our "Go to Goal" Capital Campaign. In the next three years, Beach FC will undertake a development plan that will ensure our youth a high quality soccer program for many years to come. This plan will enable us to continue to make program and facility improvements.
I am asking you, as Beach FC Members, to participate in this campaign as it will help us solicit outside businesses, corporations and foundations for donations. As you may be aware, all foundations that give money to non-profit organizations, such as Beach FC, ask how many of the organization's members contribute to club fundraising. We are asking for 100% participation from our members in this campaign. It is appropriate that we approach the families of our participating children and Alumni for support early in our campaign process. Many other possible funding sources will be interested in our commitment when making their decision to contribute; therefore I want to issue a challenge for 100% participation from parents of our players on all 36 teams, coaches, Board of Directors and club administrators and a very reachable goal of $75,000. Our total fundraising goal from all sources of funding is $250,000 over three years. Let me encourage you to support the continuation of our youth development program through this "Go to Goal" Campaign by giving thoughtful and careful consideration to the enclosed materials and your pledge. Whether it is $25 or $2500, all gifts are appreciated, and no gift is too small! Remember, all gifts are 100% tax deductible!

Obviously, some are capable of making truly significant gift amounts to this effort. All are capable of doing something. Every pledge and gift is important as no amount is too little. Our children, and many more children to follow, are counting on us to make this campaign and strategic plan a monumental success!
